Top Kids Book Week Costume Ideas

Book Week is a great chance for the kids to dress up as their favourite characters from the books they love to read! From fairytale stories like Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks, to the epic Harry Potter series, we've put together a list of the top choices this season. The Harry Potter Series, by J.K. Rowling.
With 7 books under her belt, there is a massive cast of characters to choose a Book Week costume from here. Of course Harry Potter is the star of books - select from a Slytherin Robe and star as Harry, Ron or Hermione, be the star of the pitch as Harry in a Quidditch Robe, or pick a full Harry Potter costume set. Hedwig the Owl makes for a choice Book Week costume as well, check out this Hedwig costume here. Alice In Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll.
Everyone knows the story of Alice in Wonderland, a classic story that has been retold in books and movies for decades. This great Lil' Alice costume is a perfect Bookweek outfit, and for the boys, why not put on a Mad Hatter's hat and throw a Tea Party!






The Wizard of Oz, by Frank Baum.
Follow the yellow brick road for Bookweek in a costume from The Wizard of Oz. When Dorothy awakes from a horrible tornado, she finds her house is somewhere else, and the only way home it to find the Wizard of Oz.
